Rumors are becoming rifer, growing by the day and spreading like wild fire that the gunners might yet again lose one from their ranks, as prolific striker Robin Van Persie might be joining star studded Manchester city during January transfer.
Robin is prominently in Roberto Mancini’s thoughts as Manchester City’s plan for life after Carlos Tevez. Mancini is being bolstered to make the Van Persie bid due to the fact that the Arsenal captain, who is in the last two years of his contract is showing no desire to negotiate new terms at the Emirates and also because he can’t continue to cope with a disgruntled Tevez within his rank and file.
Mancini believes City will be fortunate to get £20m in the January transfer window for a player they valued at more than twice that amount in the summer.
