OMG, NIgeriain Idol Official Web page Suspended Over Unpaid Bills.

Thought rabble-rousers were at  it when I first caught a glimpse of word that hinted the fact of this headline. So I decided to check myself, lo and behold as of 4:13 am (Nigerian time), March 2, the official homepage of Nigerian  only had this message for its teeming followers : “This Account Has Been Suspended.”

Then I think abi na hackers, but after few calls I come see say no be the work of hackers but na gbese(debt) cause am. 

Have sponsors abandoned the TV show?Only time will tell. (Check the site for yourself and see)

The official site  of one of Nigeria’s most watched reality “The Nigerian Idol” has been offline since the wee hours of March 1,not just offline due to DNS issues but because the ‘Account Has Been Suspended.’ Even though the account is registered by proxy via GoDaddy, a call to the web hosting  and we find out that the suspension is due to the fact that the hosting bill has not been paid.
